Aside from being home sick for the first half of the week with strep... I came in to work this morning to a meeting with my boss, the head of the department and the superintendent of schools. A good start right? And here's the deal while my position is still going to be funded in the upcoming school year, I might not be in it. Welcome to Unions. Here is the breakdown... if someone above me gets the ax they can say well fine, but I want my old job back and bump the person from that job. This can go all the way down the food chain to little old me. Sitting here at the bottom. Looking (once again) at a pink slip.
