Happy Thanksgiving!

In the past year we are thankful for: Ian, Melody, (and I'm thankful for Mr. C), we are thankful for all of our family without out the support and love we received this past year we would not have made it, We are thankful for good food and lots of sleep, we are thankful we live in a beautiful place and everyone is in good health. I am thankful that I am in Grad school and that I will have the opportunity to do good things in the near future. I am more than thankful for Grandma D.

Mostly I am thankful to be alive and to see all the wonderful things in the world around me.

(a little Thanksgiving cheese for everyone)

Have a great day and know that I am thankful to know and love all of you.

Picture Pages

Melly and Grandma D start the holiday weekend by baking our first pie.

These are my babies.

I'm having a bad day

It started out with health insurance shenanigans, my car was out of gas and I ended up being late for dropping Melly off. Then, of course I get pulled over for speeding and now have a court date in January. And why was I picked out of the ten other cars that I was driving along with doing the same speed as me? Because I happened to be last in line. Lucky me.

Bad day.

Hi again

Sorry everyone...being back in school, having Ian, and starting back up at my internship has made me fall behind on keeping the relatives up to date. However, today Ian has his one month doctor appointment and so I will have all kinds of news about that.

Melly is a big help (sometimes)with her little brother.

Melly helping her little brother eat.

We have finally allowed her to go into the kitchen and she is loving every minute of it. She will walk in grinning from ear to ear and proudly tell us "Melly in kitchen". Her vocabulary has taken off and she is speaking in sentences now. Wow! I heard her telling her daddy her shapes...she knew square, circle, rectangle, hexagon, pentagon, and octagon! She can identify them as well. Goodness gracious! What a girl!

I need to go off to field now, but I will try to post more soon.

Sweetest thing

Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words. And sometimes a big sister and a little brother just need some time together.

Happy Halloween Everyone!

This is considered child abuse in several states...
(Melly refused her costume...I'm not ignoring her.)
