Mamma called the Doctor and the Doctor said...

No more monkeys jumping on the bed.

Or maybe... "Your baby is strong as hell".

Babies take a long time to go back to normal after intestinal distress. This what we learned today when Mr. C took little Melly in to see the doctor after four days of nasty diapers. Fortunately, she is happy, well hydrated, and doesn't seem to care at all that she stinks. Hopefully she will be better soon because right now she is not sleeping as much due to extreme butt action.

Speaking of sleeping, a certain little wiggle butt is no longer allowed to sleep in her swing. This morning (and I use morning lightly as it was 2:30am) we found her turned all the way sideways. Not sure how she got there. Not going to let her do it again. She was one wiggle away from being dumped onto the floor. Yes, we could strap her in... but then we couldn't use the blankets under her to pad her from the plastic bottom or the cold. So the 'baby steps' to the crib end here. Now it's time for her to be a big girl.

Oh yes, 14lbs 2oz. (this is not the weight gain of a sick baby)
