Twists and turns

Today a friend of mine from college found me. He found me online through a site that does not have my real name, location or picture anywhere on it. Then he emailed me. He is a super spy. Or possibly fate decided it was time we met up again. Who knew? How exciting! Castro found me!!! (Better not tell the government)

Today I once again went to San Martin. Not nearly as exciting as getting lost the first time. But fun all the same. I arrived like Santa, with a sack (or geo metro) full of goodies. Then I proceeded to clean up their supply closet for an hour before surprising the community specialist by walking up behind him (he didn't see me come in even though I walked by his desk four times before that). One of the many presents I arrived with was a color printer. It's so beautiful... and all I had to do was get in a fight with a nun to get it. (...But I don't have a cost code number. I don't even know what a cost code is...) It's wonderful. Once again I find myself thinking... I LOVE MY JOB!!!

Anything else? Why yes! I opened my birthday present from Chris (my husband Chris, not my friend Chris)early. He bought me a sewing machine and then mocked me by wrapping it up and putting it in the corner to 'look' at me. I opened it tonight.

And I know you are all wondering what I am doing writing in a blog when I could be sewing with a machine that sews on buttons, has a needle threader, and a one step button holer... well, I have a migrane. It blows, but it means this weekend I will be finishing my faire bodice and possibly starting several other projects... New machine... sigh.

Now I need to sleep. Not the kind with the fishes. But the kind with dreams and pillows. But not over my face. Oh never mind.

Tah.
